About this policy

This policy explains privacy on the Latent Horizon website. It covers this website, rather than the separate services and open-source projects linked from it.

Information on this website

This website does not offer accounts, payment processing, or contact forms. We have not installed analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party video embeds. Fonts, images, and the background video are served with the website.

When you visit, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, the requested page, and browser details to the website’s hosting infrastructure so it can deliver the page. Hosting services may process access and security logs. The storage and retention of those logs depend on the hosting configuration.

Cookies

When you accept or reject cookies, we store a necessary first-party cookie named lh_cookie_notice, with the value v2-accepted or v2-rejected. Its only purpose is to remember your choice. It expires after 180 days and does not contain a personal identifier.

Rejecting cookies keeps optional cookies disabled. The necessary preference cookie remains so we can remember your rejection. There are currently no analytics or advertising cookies, so neither choice enables tracking. Accepting does not give consent to future tracking tools.

You can delete the preference through your browser’s cookie settings. The notice will appear again on your next visit. You can also reopen the notice and change your choice at any time here:

External links

Links to GitHub and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Those services may collect information when you visit them. We do not control their storage or tracking practices.

Your choices and rights

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser. Depending on the laws that apply to you and the information being processed, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the website’s data practices change. If optional tracking is introduced, we will explain it and provide the relevant choices before it is activated.
